Summer Bishil (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1985) is an American actress who is best known for playing Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy television series of fantasy dramas that aired from 2015 until present. The actress was previously recognized for playing the role of an 13-year old Lebanese American girl Jasira Maroun as she goes through an emotional journey in the backdrop the U.S. invaders of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. In the following year, she was chosen as one of Variety's Top 10 actors to watch in 2007. She portrayed another highly-rated character Taslima Jahangir in 2009's crime drama film Crossing Over for which she received nominations for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Lead category.
